     This site was created with the assistance and contributions of the men and women of the 720th MP Battalion, their subordinate and affiliated units, and is dedicated to the memory of all our fallen comrades since 20 January 1942, and to those men and women of the 720th Military Police Battalion who currently fill our ranks, and proudly serve with distinction and honor throughout the world as today's....

Treasurer's Report: Fellow Veteran's, our financial operating base is sound and we are gearing up for the 2012 Reunion at New Orleans. The current Biennial Dues Period ended this December 31st so please send in your renewals. If you have yet to do so, I would also ask you to make a contribution to our Streamer Project so we can proudly present our Battalion colors at the upcoming reunion.    Soldiers of The Gauntlet of all eras....The information gathered through this website, 1942 through current deployments, is vetted, catalogued, and archived for eventual transfer to the Regimental History Unit so future Soldiers of The Gauntlet and other researchers will have access to a concise and thorough history of the Battalion and its many achievements. Your contributions of unclassified official documents from all eras, ie., rosters, orders, morning reports, after action reports, operations reports-lessons learned, and photographs, as well as personal stories & reflections and related memorabilia is very important and always appreciated.

            It would be a shame to let your service go unrecognized.

  Lest we forget the letter companies who served the Battalion and Regiment proudly through 30 years, including three wars. Collectively they earned, 1 Presidential Unit Citation, 6 Meritorious Unit Commendations, and 17 Campaign Streamers, before their final deactivation in August 1972.
