Pacific Theater 2 February 1942 ~ 2 September 1945
 
       Created with the assistance and contributions of the soldiers of the 720th MP Battalion and their families to recognize, honor and render service to those that answered the call of duty to their country, their friends and brothers of the 720th MP Battalion, as well as the many others who also served with distinction, valor, and pride as US Army MPs throughout the Pacific and European Theater's during World War II.

     On 10 January 1942 the Battalion was constituted by letter and formed on 20 January at Fort George Meade, Maryland 1st U.S. Army, Zone of the Interior. On 20 March they were deployed to Pennsylvania for security duty until deployed to the Southwest Pacific Theater on 23 July.
