SGT Ken J. Makowski
SP/4 Pete Murphy
The term "Pig" was a popular antigovernment term used by the Marxist and Anarchist anti-war movements of the 1960s and 70s for police and government officials. Most law enforcement agencies accepted the name and proudly said it stood for "Pride, Integrity and Guts."
Wanted: Any names and photographs of  the crew members, and any information on who designed the Logo, please use the Email Link provided above.

Car History- On 18 May 1971 The Battalion realigned the combat support and combat service support missions within Military Region III the were previously accomplished by both A and C Company. Both companies had similar missions of staffing remote detachment provost marshal offices and convoy escort duties within the region. The realignment resulted in A Company assuming responsibility for all region provost marshal duties and C Company assuming responsibility for all convoy escort duties.

A Company V100 A44 "Pig Power" was eventually transferred to C Company. The new V100 was designated by C Company as C54 and they kept the name "Pig Power" replacing the V100 lost on 28 April 1969. It also served the MP's of C Company on convoy escorts which now encompassed Military Regions II, III and IV.

When the Battalion stood down for return to the states on 13 August 1972, C54 was reassigned and probably ended up with the 615th MP Company, and later when the 615th stood down in the inventory of an ARVN unit.
