        SGT Robert K. Houle, age 26, of Providence, Rhode Island, was struck by a truck and severly injured on November 25, 1968, and died four hours later. He was on his third tour of duty in Vietnam. He was survived by his wife Virginia and three children, Bobby 10, Teri 8 and Christina 3, and his parents in Rhode Island. Burial was in Rhode Island. He joined the Army at age 17 and had planned a military career.

SGT Houle received a posthumous promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant (E6).
