     PVT Augustus Adams, age 21, of Gulfport, Mississippi, died from injuries received as the result of a vehicle crash in Bien Hoa Provence on 1 June 1971.

     On 16 February 1971 PVT Adams was transferred to C Company from B Company, 53rd Signal Battalion and held the MOS 76Y30 Armorer/Unit Supply Specialist.
