1968-1969
        APC bumper marker C101, C Company first appears on Battalion rolls in 1968 and is used for convoy escort and Battalion Reaction Force out of Long Binh Post. At the time the MP's were not allowed to paint names on their APC.

1970
        The first "Easy Rider," bumper marker unknown  C??, was named in 1970 and used for convoy escort out of Long Binh Post by C Company. The name was from a very popular 1969 American counter culture road movie written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Terry Southern.

        Sometime after 1970 it was renamed "The Easy Rider" and the gun shield art was expanded with a cartoon character of an MP holding an American Flag. The bumper marking was C101.
