        During his tour at Fort Hood, Texas the Battalion was involved with deployments of its organic units in Operation Hawkeye in the Virgin Islands, Operation Prayer Book/Just Cause in Panama, Operations Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq.
