Photo G0479:   MAJ Max E. Newman of the 15th Support Brigade, 4th Army explains the construction of a booby trap during a pre-deployment training class held for members of the 720th MP Battalion. The classes on mines, booby traps and mantraps were held at Fort Hood, Texas on 19, 22, and 23 September 1966 just weeks before the battalion departed for Vietnam.
