PFC Glenn K. Lino was providing security and traffic control for a construction project on the Newport Bridge. The driver of a truck from a Phillipino Engineer unit lost control causing a crane to fall. It landed on PFC Lino resulting in severe trauma. He died at the scene before medical assistance could arrive.
