Photo B0097:  Two unidentified members of the 720th MP Battalion, 4th Army, Fort Hood, Texas Task Force ECHO standing guard at the Lyceum Building on the University Campus in Oxford, Mississippi during the Civil Rights Movement riots attempting to block the enrolment of Mr. James Meridith in October-November of 1962. This photograph is believed to have been taken during one of the later rotating deployments to maintain a military police federal security presence on campus. The small photo insert shows members of Task Force ECHO loading vehicles onto Air Force C130 transport planes at James Connally Air Base in Waco, Texas during 31 September and 1 October 1962.
